Amanda Bossard net worth

When she graduated in 1992 Amanda Bossard began her research in marine biology at Anchorage in Alaska at the University of Alaska Pacific. Bossard started her commercial seafood career in 1999, after she started working aboard the ship F/V Sunset. The 65' schooner converted to the role of a salmon tender is operated by Murat Aritan. He has been a commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard was married to Aritan in 1999 and the two have joined to defend their businesses. They both believe in conservation as well as profiting from sustainable resources within the seafood industry. Otolith opened its direct market wholesale distributor in Philadelphia after Bossard was able to return from in her home town with two daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre 1year old, and Andre 1, to Philadelphia. Her husband and she are separated by five months, and she is able to focus on her finances as well as her environmental goals. Bossard along with Isabella and Andre (ages 10 and 12 respectively) return each year, beginning in July of 2016, to Southeast Alaska for the summer harvest of salmon wild. For two months, Bossard and Isabella use hooks & lines to catch the salmon they want to catch. Aritan will then sell their fish locally to processors.
